Meet the Doctor

Dr. Ceonzo has been in practice since 2002, providing comprehensive eye exams, developmental vision therapy, sports vision therapy, and visual rehabilitation for patients of all ages.  After completing her optometry degree at SUNY College of Optometry, where she was awarded the Frederick Brock Memorial Award for Outstanding Clinical Performance in Vision Therapy, Dr. Ceonzo continued her education with a Residency at the Veterans Hospital in Northport, NY, specializing in Vision Therapy, Low Vision Rehabilitation, and Ocular Disease. 

After being on staff at the Northport Veterans Hospital and years practicing behavioral optometry in Garden City and Staten Island, Dr. Ceonzo has brought vision therapy to central Long Island at Visionary Optometry’s Center for Visual Development as a Fellow in the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.  

Throughout her 18 years of practice, Dr. Ceonzo has lectured to residents, students, parents’ groups, head trauma survivors, health professionals, teachers, and Early Intervention professionals on the importance of visual development and rehabilitation in work, life, sports, and academics.  Dr. Ceonzo’s aim is to help patients optimize their vision to better enjoy work, play, and life.
